Effervescent Tablet · Strips of 4 tablets

DIZZOTABLET

Gas trapped? Dizzo Tablet.

An effervescent tablet you drop into half a glass of water. It dissolves into an orange drink. Inside are two digestive enzymes that work on the food, plus simethicone, which works on gas that has already formed.

The gas & bloating specialist — for when it happens often enough that you keep a pack with you.

Relief from gas, heartburn & indigestion

  • Tasty Orange Flavour
  • Papain, Fungal Diastase (Alpha Amylase) & Simethicone Effervescent Tablet
  • Strips of 4 tablets
How to take it

Half a glass of water. Drink it once it dissolves.

Half a glass — about 120 ml — the same as Dizzo Fast. What is different here is that the tablet is not to be swallowed directly.

  1. 01Not to be swallowed directly.
  2. 02Drop one tablet in half a glass of water (approx. 120 ml).
  3. 03Drink as soon as the tablet has fully dissolved.
What it feels like

Full, tight, and nothing shifting.

This is not the burning of acidity. It is pressure — a stomach that feels full and tight and stays that way. Most people can tell the two apart straight away.

Acid settles. Digestion still needs support. That is why Dizzo combines digestive enzymes for food breakdown, and simethicone for trapped gas.

How simethicone works

Small bubbles become big ones.

Simethicone is not an enzyme, and your body does not absorb it. It works on the surface of the gas bubbles stuck in your stomach. That one job is the whole reason this tablet exists apart from the sachet.

  1. 01

    The gas is trapped.

Gas forms as a meal breaks down. It gets held as a lot of very small bubbles, spread all through your stomach. That is what makes it feel tight and full.

  2. 02

    Simethicone works on the surface.

It is not an enzyme, and your body does not absorb it. It works on the surface of those bubbles, so instead of staying separate they join up.

  3. 03

    Bigger bubbles pass out.

Lots of small bubbles become a few big ones. And a big bubble is far easier to pass than small ones scattered everywhere.

Acts on trapped gas. The drawing shows the idea, not the real sizes.

What is in one tablet

Three ingredients, three different jobs.

Two of them are digestive enzymes and work on the food. The third works on the gas. None of them is mysterious once you know where it comes from.

  • A green unripe papaya cut in half, showing pale flesh and white seeds
    0160 mg

    Papain

    From raw papaya

The enzyme in unripe papaya. Indian and South-East Asian kitchens have rubbed raw papaya into tough meat for generations to soften it — papain cuts long protein chains into shorter pieces. Dizzo carries a measured amount of the same enzyme.

    Helps in protein digestion

  • A small round colony of Aspergillus oryzae, white at the rim and olive-gold at the centre
    0220 mg

    Fungal Diastase

    Alpha amylase, from fermentation

An amylase — the same family of enzyme as the one in your own saliva, which is why carbohydrates start tasting faintly sweet if you chew them long enough. It breaks them down into simpler sugars.

    Helps in carbohydrate digestion

  • A small heap of fine white powder beside a clear bead of silicone fluid
    0325 mg

    Simethicone

    In Dizzo Tablet only

Not an enzyme and not absorbed by the body. It works on the surface of the small trapped bubbles in your stomach so they join into larger ones that are easier to pass.

    Helps in releasing gas pressure
